Usage Center
The Usage Center provides insight into a Sonatype Nexus Repository deployment’s scale to help administrators know when it’s time to review their current deployment model.
For Sonatype Nexus Repository Community Edition deployments, this also helps administrators monitor usage to ensure it remains under the Community Edition usage limits of 100,000 total components and/or 200,000 requests per day.
Note
Usage metrics are updated on an hourly basis; counts are not live. It will take up to an hour for metrics to update after making any changes to your usage.
Usage information does not currently display for High Availability (HA) deployments.

Usage Limitations for Community Edition
Sonatype Nexus Repository Community Edition deployments are limited to 100,000 total components and/or 200,000 requests per day.
Usage that exceeds these metrics requires a Sonatype Nexus Repository Pro license.
What Happens if I Exceed Community Edition Usage Limits?
If your Sonatype Nexus Repository Community Edition deployment exceeds the 100,000 total components or 200,000 requests per day limitation, users will not be able to add new components until you fall back below both of those limits.

What Happens if I Get Usage Back Below Limits?
When your Sonatype Nexus Repository Community Edition deployment falls back below the 100,000 total components and 200,000 requests per day limitation, users will be able to add new components again only so long as the deployment remains below those limits.
Users will not be able to add new components during any time period when your deployment exceeds either one of these limitations.
Note
Usage metrics are updated on an hourly basis; counts are not live. It will take up to an hour for metrics to update after making any changes to your usage.
This means it will take up to an hour for users to be able to add new components again after bringing your usage below Community Edition limits.
How do I Obtain a Pro License?
Sonatype Nexus Repository Pro deployments do not have usage limitations. You can purchase a Sonatype Nexus Repository Pro license by contacting our Sales team or through our self-purchase option.
Once you obtain a Pro license, you can upload the license following our license management instructions.
