Resetting the Admin Account Password and Roles

The default admin account password and roles may be reconfigured as follows:

  1. Shut down the server

  2. Run the following command inside the directory where the server jar file is located

    java -jar nexus-iq-server-[version].jar reset-admin config.yml

  3. Restart the server

The original admin account is recreated with the default username and password. This will revert the admin roles to the default state.
