Creating Repositories

To create a new repository in Nexus Repository, you require the following privileges:

  • nx-repository-admin-*-*-add

    To add a new repository

  • nx-repository-admin-*-*-read

    To view repositories (including the newly added ones)

To create a new repository, take the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Repository → Repositories

  2. Select the Create repository button.

  3. Select the Recipe (format and repository type) for the new repository (e.g., npm (hosted)).

  4. In the form that appears, complete the required fields as well as any additional configurations you wish to add for creating your repository. Available configurations differ by repository format and type.

  5. Select Create repository.

Deleting Repositories

Select the Delete repository button to delete an existing repository. This deletes the repository, the related configuration, and components from the repository.
