Sonatype is aware of an issue affecting Nexus Repository 3.91.x–3.93.0 deployments that use PyPI proxy repositories.
When a PyPI proxy repository points to a remote repository that returns relative links for Python wheel files, Nexus Repository may incorrectly resolve those links when constructing the upstream download request. This can result in invalid upstream URLs and HTTP 404 responses returned to Python clients.
This issue is known to affect chained PyPI proxy configurations where one Nexus Repository instance proxies another Nexus Repository instance. PyPI proxy repositories configured to proxy PyPI.org directly are not known to be affected.
If you use chained PyPI proxy repositories with another Nexus Repository instance as the remote, do not upgrade to Nexus Repository 3.91.x – 3.93.0.
This issue is fixed in Nexus Repository 3.93.1. If you use chained PyPI proxy repositories with another Nexus Repository instance as the remote, upgrade to Nexus Repository 3.93.1.

Sonatype is aware of an issue impacting Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.92.0 – 3.92.2 deployments using a PostgreSQL database and NuGet V2 proxy repositories.
Upgrading can cause the search indexer to fail if a NuGet V2 proxy repository contains a cached package with an empty component name. When this occurs, search indexing fails for all repositories with a PostgreSQL constraint violation. The underlying NuGet data is not affected.
If you have NuGet V2 proxy repositories, do not upgrade to version 3.92.0 – 3.92.2; upgrade to 3.92.3+ instead.

Sonatype is aware of a known issue impacting Nexus Repository 3.92.1 Community Edition.
After Nexus starts, the user interface may freeze and become unresponsive. This issue is fixed in version 3.92.2.
If you use Nexus Repository Community Edition, do not upgrade to version 3.92.0 or 3.92.1; upgrade to 3.92.2 instead.
Known Issue Impacting Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.92.0 – 3.92.2; Fixed in 3.92.3

Known Issue with Custom Context Paths in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.92.0; Fixed in 3.92.1
If you are running a self-hosted Nexus Repository with a custom nexus-context-path (for example, hosting at https://domain.com/nexus/ instead of the root path), do not upgrade to version 3.92.0. This issue only affects instances with a custom context path.
In 3.92.0, custom context paths are broken and may make your Nexus instance inaccessible. This issue is fixed in 3.92.1.
Known Issue Impacting Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.92.0 – 3.92.2; Fixed in 3.92.3
Sonatype is aware of an issue impacting Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.92.0 – 3.92.2 deployments using a PostgreSQL database and NuGet V2 proxy repositories.
Upgrading can cause the search indexer to fail if a NuGet V2 proxy repository contains a cached package with an empty component name. When this occurs, search indexing fails for all repositories with a PostgreSQL constraint violation. The underlying NuGet data is not affected.
If you have NuGet V2 proxy repositories, do not upgrade to version 3.92.0 – 3.92.2; upgrade to 3.92.3+ instead.

Sonatype is aware of an issue affecting Nexus Repository 3.91.x–3.93.0 deployments that use PyPI proxy repositories.
When a PyPI proxy repository points to a remote repository that returns relative links for Python wheel files, Nexus Repository may incorrectly resolve those links when constructing the upstream download request. This can result in invalid upstream URLs and HTTP 404 responses returned to Python clients.
This issue is known to affect chained PyPI proxy configurations where one Nexus Repository instance proxies another Nexus Repository instance. PyPI proxy repositories configured to proxy PyPI.org directly are not known to be affected.
If you use chained PyPI proxy repositories with another Nexus Repository instance as the remote, do not upgrade to Nexus Repository 3.91.x – 3.93.0.
This issue is fixed in Nexus Repository 3.93.1. If you use chained PyPI proxy repositories with another Nexus Repository instance as the remote, upgrade to Nexus Repository 3.93.1.

Known Issue with npm Group Repositories in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.90.2
Sonatype is aware of an issue in Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.90.2 where npm group repositories may serve stale package metadata after upstream repositories are updated.
This issue occurs when requesting packages with versions or dist-tags (for example, npm install storybook@latest or npm install @sonatype/[email protected]). The cache invalidation process fails, causing the group repository to return outdated version information.
Symptoms may include:
npm builds failing with version mismatch errors.
Recently published package versions not visible through the group repository
Server logs showing errors such as:
IllegalArgumentException: Non URL-safe name
Workaround:
Manually invalidate the package cache through the Nexus UI: Browse → Select repository → Right-click package → Invalidate cache

Sonatype is aware of an issue impacting Sonatype Nexus Repository 3.87.0 - 3.87.1 High Availability (HA) deployments that use group blob stores created using the REST API. After upgrading, the Blob Stores page can fail to load, and errors are logged during startup.
If you are using Nexus Repository in an HA configuration and have configured group blob stores via API, we recommend delaying your upgrade to 3.87.0 - 3.87.1 until a fix is available.

Sonatype has identified an issue in Sonatype Nexus Repository in the Community Edition where deployments would fail to start after the upgrade if they had one or more docker group repositories. This patch includes a fix that restores docker group function on Community Edition. It also includes a fix to the user interface for creating docker repositories, and the helm chart has been updated to correct logging configuration.

Affected requests return only a generic “403 Forbidden” status with no explanatory message or link to the component report. This may impact environments that depend on these messages to inform users about quarantine reasons.
