Updating your Product License

When you renew your Lifecycle or Firewall purchase with Sonatype, you'll be sent a new .lic file. To update your license in IQ Server, follow the steps below.

  1. Visit the IQ Server's browser UI and log in as an Administrator.

  2. Click the gear in the top right corner of the top toolbar.

  3. Click Product License.

  4. Click Update License in the bottom right corner. This should open a File Explorer or Finder window.

  5. Navigate to the .lic file and upload it.

The browser UI should immediately update to show the details of the new license file.
