Setting a custom repository name

When Nexus Repository connects to IQ Server, the repository server's internal node identifier is used as a unique name to denote the repository instance in the Firewall configuration. This name is not identifiable for most users, so the name may be modified to a more user-friendly value.

  1. Log in to IQ Server

  2. Select Orgs and Policies from the sidebar

  3. Select Repositories

  4. Choose the edit icon on the line for the repository to rename

  5. Enter a custom name for the repository and save the change
